ICITSC 2026 has been successfully held!

The 3rd International Conference on Intelligent Transportation and Smart Cities (ICITSC 2026) was successfully held on April 10, 2026. This conference brought together experts and scholars from multiple countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and many others, to conduct in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge frontier topics. Through keynote speeches and oral presentations, participants shared the latest advances and research outcomes in the fields of intelligent transportation and smart cities, demonstrated and discussed the newest innovations, trends, challenges, and solutions in the field, while drawing inspiration for breakthrough progress.

During the opening session, Professor Marc A. Rosen from Ontario Institute of Technology University, Canada, delivered the opening remarks. He first extended a warm welcome to scholars from all over the world, noting that the conference provided a valuable exchange platform for participating experts and scholars. He encouraged all attendees to fully leverage this rare opportunity to actively engage in in-depth discussions, and jointly drive innovation and development in related fields.

In the keynote speech session, Professor Ljiljana Trajković from Simon Fraser University, Canada, delivered a keynote speech titled Data Mining and Machine Learning for Analysis of Network Traffic.

Professor Marc A. Rosen from Ontario Institute of Technology University, Canada, delivered a keynote speech titled Energy Sustainability in Buildings and Communities: A Means to Smart Cities and Transportation.

Professor Sara Moridpour from RMIT University, Australia, delivered a keynote speech titled Enhancing Pedestrian Safety Through AI.

Professor Chinthaka Premachandra from Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan, delivered a keynote speech titled Vision-Based Intersection Safety Intelligence.

Professor Azlan Mohd Zain from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia, delivered a keynote speech titled Smart Ecosystems: The Integration of AI, IoT, and Cloud.

Associate Professor Dimitrios A. Karras from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, delivered a keynote speech titled Smart Mobility 2.0: Autonomous Vehicles, AI, and the Smart Grid – Emerging Business Models and Persistent Challenges in Smart Cities.

Professor Ranka Sanjay from the University of Florida, USA, delivered a keynote speech titled Leveraging AI for Intersection Safety.

Following the keynote session, a number of participating scholars took part in the oral presentation session, showcasing their latest research findings and sharing their insights from learning and research.

This conference has provided a platform for scholars in the fields of intelligent transportation and smart cities to present their research outcomes and exchange academic advances.
